Rebecca MacKenzie is a marketing, communications and design professional of Cree, Scottish and Acadian descent. A Western Canadian at heart, currently based in Ottawa, Rebecca is an intrepid traveller of Indigenous and Canadian territories and something of a professional museum goer. This serves her well in her current role as Communications Manager of the Canadian Museums Association. Her approach to work and life is to find the balance between the traditional, the historical, technology and visual art. This is well supported by her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia where she studied history and art history.
